Suvorovets 1944 (dir. Denis Kazantsev, Russia, 2024, 90 min., 6+)
After a year of studying at the Suvorov School, 13-year-old Vovka Kulikov returns to his native Siberian village. The boy finds out that his father, the chairman of the collective farm, has gone to the frontline, and meanwhile problems are befalling the village: a gang of mysterious robbers is terrorizing local residents and threatening the timely harvest. Vovka decides to defend his family and friends and enters into a confrontation with the bandits.
The Zoo (dir. Manish Tiwary, India, 2023, 115 min., 6+)
The boy Suraj, a talented football player, moves with his poor mother to the slums of Mumbai. Arno is the fifth daughter in a Kyrgyz family. Her parents dream of a boy, so Arno tries to become a son for her father herself. The fact is that in traditional Kyrgyz families, the birth of a son is still considered a holiday, while daughters are becoming less desirable - even their names speak of this, which have been reformulated as “mistake”, “enough”, “dedication to the son”. Studying the world and trying to be the same as the boys she knows, Arno tries to understand things that even her parents don’t have answers to. Why is their way of life so unfair to women, to the extent that our desires determine our lives and reality? We follow the fate of Arno and her family against a backdrop of breathtaking and harsh nature, inevitably realizing how fragile their world is.

Jane Not Sane (dir. Ivan Kapitonov, Russia, 2023, 115 min., 16+)
16-year-old Zhenya, whom everyone calls Harsh, fully justifies her nickname: she makes gestures and destroys relationships with everyone around her. She became like this after a concussion and a leg injury. Now she walks with a limp and sees the world in less than rosy terms. Zhenya blames his best (and now former) friend Prikhodko for his trauma and directs all his anger and sparkling cynicism at him. But, except for Prikhodko, everyone gets it: parents, older brother, friends and classmates. Everything changes after meeting the head of the robotics club Svyatoslav, who becomes Zhenya’s mentor. By interacting with robots, she learns to communicate with people, begins to enjoy life again, and most importantly, finds an old friend again.

The Rebels (dir. Vladimir Alenikov, Russia, 2024, 121 min., 12+)
A certain clever rustler intends to build a large commercial complex. But bad luck, there is no free space for this in the city center. Then the businessman incites selfish city officials to demolish the building of a boarding school for disabled children, where the heroine of the film, the silent girl Nastya, ends up. My teacher (dir. Antonina Abramova, Russia, 2023, 30 min., 12+)
Classmates laugh at new girl Alina. She loses her voice from excitement during public speaking. Alina lives in her own world, creating it in drawings where words are not needed. Parents believe that the staff of the new school is slandering, they do not see the problem, they believe that their daughter is growing up in ideal conditions: “Don’t make a mountain out of a molehill. Our daughter has her own room, a new phone, travel. Any child will be jealous!”. The only person who understands Alina is Russian language and literature teacher Evgeniy Bronislavovich. He allows her to take poetry individually and tries to help her cope with her fear of speaking and shares his experience. Alina will have to overcome her fear in order to save a person from slander, but this will turn into a tragedy.
