 Sergey Kapkov

Member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation. Winner of the “Slon” (“Elephant”) Award of the Guild of Film Experts and Critics (2002, 2006, 2007, 2009). Laureate of international film festivals.

Sergey Kapkov was born on June 29, 1972 in Moscow. In 1995 he graduated from Dmitry Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia.

Since 2017 – Managing Editor of the animation studio Soyuzmultfilm.

Since 2014 – Founder and Artistic Director of the National Animation Award “Icarus”.

Since 2000 – Cofounder and Chief Editor of the website animator.ru, press agent of the KROK International Animated Films Festival.

Since 2011– Scriptwriter and Director of concerts of the Russian State Symphony Orchestra of Cinematography.

Author of the books “These different, different faces”, “His Highness' comrade”, “Kings of comedy”, “Minor characters”, “Once upon a tale”, “Alexander Pilot Tatarskiy”. Contributor to the “Encyclopedia of Russian animation”. Author of scripts for about 80 documentary films and series. Director of documentary films “Pani Malkina– Czech Ranevskaya, “Elena Dryatskaya. Out loud”, “Cats, teddy bears, Chizhikov”, “Animation from scratch”, “Symphony of the screen”, "On the road with the Bremen ones”, “His Highness' comrade” etc.



Elena Alferova

Biography. Elena Alferova was born in Moscow. In 2007 she graduated from Russian State University of Cinematography named after S. Gerasimov (the Documentary Film Workshop)

Director of documentary films and shows. Member of the Russian Documentary Guild. Selector of documentary programs of the international film festivals “Luchezarny Angel” (“Shining Angel”) and “The Date with Russia”

On television since 2004 (TV channel "Kultura", educational TV channel "Znanie-TV").

Elena Alferova works in television since 2004 (the TV channels Russia-K, Znanie-TV). From 2015 to 2017 — Managing Editor for selection of documentary films at Russia-K. Director of more than 30 documentary films and shows.

Winner of Russian and international awards: the “Best documentary film” Award of the 2014 International Sports Film Festival (Samara city, Russia), the “Best Editing” Grand Prize of the Palermo International Sport Film Festival (Italy).

2015 – Participant of “Russian Programs” of the Moscow International Film Festival

Winner of the International Sports Film Program (Argentina-Milan)

Since 2016 – Teacher at the Children's Film and Television School “AURUM” Since 2020 – Creative Director of the Children's Film Festival “AURUM –PLAY”



Masha Tereshchenko

Journalist, animation programs coordinator, screenwriter and creative producer.

Author of publications on animation in such media as Gazeta (The newspaper), Kommersant, Ekspert (Expert), Moskovskiye Novosti (Moscow News), Novye Izvestia, Vedomosti (The Record), OpenSpace.ru, kinopoisk.ru, kino-teatr.ru, colta.ru and more.

From 2006 till 2018 she managed dozens of animation screenings in Moscow including cycles Animaciya v nominacii na Oscar (Animation for an Oscar nomination), Klassiki animacii (Animation Classics), Mul'tsreda (Cartoon environment), Otchetnyj pokaz animacii (Reporting animation screening). She also managed festivals and movie programs such as KOT (The cat), Puteshestvie po Rossii (Traveling across Russia), IMHO, 50+ etc.

She is one of the founders and program director of the Bol'shoj festival' mul'tfil'mov (Big Cartoon Festival), the compiler of animation and children's programs at the Kraj sveta (Edge of the World) festivals in Sakhalin and Kaliningrad.

She is the provider and coordinator of a number of scenario pitch sessions for the Riki and Melnitsa (The windmill) studios and during the Suzdal Festival. She is also the screenwriter of the projects Tima and Toma, Gav-myau (Woof-meow), the head screenwriter of the projects Feerinki (Fairies) and DinoCity. She is a creative producer and screenwriter of the projects Bodo Borodo, Klub Voprosiki (The Questions Club), Spojly.



Vera Sokolova

Vera Sokolova is a producer, director, and general director of the “Horizon Kino” film studio, a member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation.

As a producer, she has participated in making of more than 30 documentaries and feature films. In 2008-2012 Ms Sokolova held the position of the Vice President of the Screenwriters Guild of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation, she is the founder of the film club "Cinema Cabaret "Brother Lumiere";

from 2011 - present – the general director of the “Horizon Kino” film studio;

from 2008 to 2012 – the Vice-President of the Screenwriters Guild of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation.

Ms Sokolova is the producer of documentaries and feature films, including “Hear Me!”, “Profession of a deputy”, “Brain Music”, “Rescuers”, “Gendarme Chronicles”, “An eye for an eye principle”, “Vovka the Son of Caesar” (the film is the winner of the Ninth Tashkent International Film Festival).
Producer and director of the films “Gone in the Fog” and “Checkpoint”.
