The International Film Festival for Children and Youth “Brave”: Day two
The first day of the International Festival "Brave" is over - loud premieres took place at the venues of Krasnoyarsk and Divnogorsk, and the opening ceremony and creative meetings took place on the Internet. - 10:15-16:00 Competition program of full-length feature films
From the very morning in the hall number 3 of the cinema "Cinema Park. Yenisei Gallery ”will begin screenings of the competitive program of feature films. Several big premieres await the audience at once. These are the domestic science fiction blockbuster "The Earthly Side of the Moon", the adventure film "My Grandfather from Mars" from Croatian filmmakers and the powerful war drama "Vesuri". - 14:00 Special program for the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War
At the art-attic of the "House of Cinema" (Prospect Mira, 88), spectators will be presented with a special out-of-competition program that includes both feature films and documentaries. During the first screening, you will be able to see the film "I Freeze Time" by Swedish documentary filmmaker Gunilla Breski, dedicated to the hard work of military reporters.
- 15:00 Art meeting with Alisher Khamidkhodjaev
Cameraman Alisher Khamidkhodjaev became famous for his work on the films "A Tale of Darkness", "To Live" and "Anna's War". His work has received prizes at the Venice Film Festival and Kinotavr, as well as several awards of the White Elephant Prize. As part of the creative meeting, he will tell the audience of the "Hero" festival about the difficulties of camera work and how to overcome them.
- 15:00 Out-of-competition program of short feature films
Cinema "Epicenter" will show its viewers an out-of-competition program of films from the "KinoNiva" studio. The main feature of the films included in it is that they are all shot by children and for children.

As part of the second day of the festival, the Eduard Uspensky Library (17 Surguladze St.), which is comfortably located in Minusinsk, will join the screenings. Everyone will be able to watch the program of cartoons, each of which will qualify for the main prizes.
- 15:30 Out-of-competition program of animated short films
Honored guests and members of the festival jury - authors of the Smeshariki project Denis Chernov and Tatyana Belova will present an out-of-competition program of animated films at the Dream children's cinema.
- 16:00-20:00 Competition program of short feature films
Immediately after the screenings of the full-length films, two truly striking programs of short films will be shown in Hall 3 of Cinema Park.
- 17:00 Art meeting with the authors of the project “Kikoriki” Denis Chernov and Tatyana Belova
The contribution of the animated series "Smeshariki" to world culture can hardly be overestimated. A cartoon about funny round animals, it seems, conquered absolutely everyone - regardless of gender, age or language. Those who stood at the origins - the main director of the project Denis Chernov and screenwriter Tatyana Belova - will tell about the secret of such a success of the project.

In Divnogorsk recreation center "Energetik" (Komsomolskaya st., 6), viewers will be able to watch the domestic military action movie "Rzhev", which tells about the famous battle of Rzhev.
- 19:00 Art meeting with Nina Romodanovskaya
Nina Romodanovskaya, the editor-in-chief of the well-known Internet portal about cinema "ProfiCinema", associate professor of VGIK named after S. Gerasimov, will tell about what it is like to run a website about cinema in the era of the heyday of information technologies.
- 21:00 Art meeting with Konstantin Bronzit
Konstantin Bronzit is one of the most outstanding Russian animators, twice nominated for the Oscar. He presents two of his works at the festival – full-length comedy “Three Heroes and The Heiress to the Throne” and the short drama “He Cannot Live Without Space”. At the art meeting with Mr Bronzit you will learn why there is nothing good in the “throes of art”, what helped “Melnitsa” to become one of the leading animation studios in Russia, what the beauty of author's animation is and much more.

The International Film Festival for Children and Youth "Hero" is the only professional international film festival for children and youth on the territory from Eastern Siberia to Sakhalin in Russia.
The main aim of the festival is to provide conditions for the development of creative abilities and visual thinking of children, to broaden their horizons through acquaintance with outstanding examples of Russian and world modern and classical cinema, to develop moral values, aesthetic attitude toward the world around us, and own taste for art. The idea of searching a modern hero provides food for thought at the discussion panels where the invited film industry experts and the young festival participants will attempt to answer such questions as who the hero for the younger generation is and what a modern hero should be.
