Full-length Feature Film Competition:

My Wild Friend (dir. Anna Kurbatova, Russia, 2024, 99 min., 6+)

Seventh-grader Sasha Menshikov is finishing the school year at a new school and lives with his aunt Nina in a small picturesque town. Sasha’s mother, a famous scientist, brought him here from Moscow for the duration of her next expedition. Things didn’t work out with Sasha’s classmates; after school, he often walks alone in nature. One day in the forest, Sasha finds a little fox caught in a trap. Having learned that poachers are hunting for the fox cub, the boy hides him in a dugout deep in the forest and begins to nurse him. This begins a touching and adventurous story about friendship, responsibility and justice.

Philip's Rules (dir. Roman Kosov, Russia, 2024, 86 min., 6+)

Philip enjoys breaking the rules. He often gets in trouble because of that. Sometimes his mother fails to control his energy. He loves his mother very much, he likes having breakfast together, doing morning exercises, walking and going on the ride in an amusement park... However when his mother is out working, Philip often goes out by himself. He likes watching baristas making coffee in a local coffee-shop. Here he enjoys his own rules, hoping to achieve his dream of becoming a barista one day. After all, coffee makes people happier. But fulfilling his dream is not that easy - Philip is 25 and he is born with Down syndrome.

Follow the Sun (dir. Leonid Kulibaba, Russia, 2024, 117 min., 12+)

The film focuses on the eternal problem of misunderstanding between children and adults. The idea of the film is based on the solution proposed by one of the main characters - a strange teacher who is able to see the world through a child's eyes. Thanks to his methodology based on play and creativity, he finds a common language with children. Unexpectedly, the children's grades and behaviour improve.

Legends from the past (dir. Ivan Sosnin, Russia, 2025, 103 min., 12+)

On assignment from the editorial office a reporter from Yekaterinburg goes to a village lost in taiga, where he hears an ancient legend about the lord of the forest. Upon his return home all of a sudden he starts seeing and hearing the ancient spirit who begs him to save the endangered fantastic creatures. The reporter agrees and in the company of his 12-year-old daughter, who has come from Moscow to spend the vacation with him, he sets off for the lands virtually untouched by civilization. The trip filled with unexpected adventures, will bring the father and daughter closer together because it’s only together that they will be able to solve the mystery of the ancient legends from the past.

A grandfather takes in his teenage grandson after he loses both parents in a terrible car accident and becomes speechless. The grandfather wants to "make a man" out of his grandson before his own heart condition takes hold.

Before the will is read, Stallone invites his friends with Down syndrome from the Brazilian institute where he once lived to spend a week at the hotel. The institute’s principal forbids the trip, but Jazilma, a curious resident, convinces four friends to go at any cost. With help from Márcio (a former resident turned air club worker), they sneak onto a cargo plane—only to cross paths with criminals who use them to smuggle stolen gems.
Featuring a cast of dozens of actors with Down syndrome and one autistic actor, this wild adventure is full of chaos, humor, and unexpected twists.

During excavations on Wrangel Island, a live baby mammoth is found sleeping in an artificially cre-ated cryogenic sarcophagus. An obsessed scientist leading the expedition decides to keep the dis-covery a secret from the public and pass it off as the result of his own cloning work. The baby mammoth is to be dissected to obtain material for cloning and research. A group of young school-children come to the baby mammoth's aid after accidentally discovering that it is intelligent. They help the baby mammoth escape and head back to Wrangel Island to uncover the mystery of its origin.

Careless Finnick accidentally awakens the magic of an ancient walking stick – and loses the ability to be invisible! Now all the finns in the world are in danger. Moonzy: Homecoming (dir. Konstantin Bronzit, Russia, 2024, 75 min., 6+)

Moonzy Homecoming is a heartwarming preschool animation movie that follows the adventures of Moonzy, a fluffy and cute Moonchild who calls Earth's forest meadow home, along with his friendly insect friends. One day, Moonzy discovers a way to return to the Moon, his original home. However, his journey is not without challenges: Moonzy's best friend, the grasshopper Skip, is deeply upset that Moonzy wants to get back home. Old scientist Moth, who has a deep curiosity for lunar science, tries to interfere and prevent Moonzy's Homecoming for the sake of his research. Adding to the chaos are mischievous twin caterpillars, Woopsie and Poopsie, who create their usual mess wherever they go.

T-REX (dir. Timur Yunisov, Russia, 2025, 25 min., 16+)

Fedya, a gentle, well-behaved boy, lives peacefully with his mother while enduring harassment from the local bully, Skvortsov. When he rescues a stray kitten, Fedya meets Bogdan, a cunning and cocky street kid who involves him in a dangerous scheme...

Shchedrik (dir. Daria Artyushkova, Russia, 2025, 14 min., 12+)

On Christmas Eve, the young masked caroler Shchedrik, along with other children from the or-phanage, walks around the apartments, begging for treats and money. He finds himself on the threshold of the apartment of a lonely old woman, and the oppressive atmosphere in the dwelling, along with the alarming silence of the hostess, cause anxiety on the guy.
Turning on the flashlight on his phone, he discovers that the old woman is sick and seems to be preparing for death. Delirious, the old woman takes a stranger in a terrible mask for a messenger from the other world and asks to be transported to another world, but the guy is more interested in her valuables. Playing the role of a cheerful caroler, Shchedrik suddenly realizes that he has a chance to enrich himself. He helps the old woman collect valuables for the next world, putting the prey in his bag, but he has doubts.

Rabbit Race (dir. Alexander Shmakov, Maxim Karateev, Russia, 2025, 21 min., 12+)

After moving to a new neighborhood, a teenager faces bullying, but accidentally ends up in a theatre studio. There he discovers his talent, finds friends and gains confidence in himself. With the support of the group and the stage, he learns to stand up to aggression. Theatre becomes not only a passion for him, but also a way to overcome difficulties. In the end, the hero defeats bullying, gaining inner strength and recognition.

Trezorka (dir. Ilya Severov, Russia, 2025, 29 min., 12+)

An elderly grandfather and a ten-year-old boy meet by chance on New Year's Eve in the courtyard of a house. Grandfather recalls how, as an eight-year-old, he lived in besieged Leningrad and acci-dentally found the dog of a deceased officer. And his whole family was faced with a choice between friendship with their new pet and survival.

Delivery man (dir. Dinara Abdrashitova, Russia, 2025, 15 min., 12+)

A courier with cerebral palsy must, at all costs, reach the customer before midnight. A heartwarming story about New Year's miracles.

In the Shadow of a Bamboo Basket (dir. Sujan Lamjel, India, 2025, 23 min., 16+)

Doko ko Chahari is a short film that explores the world of 13-year-old Anish through the lens of his innocence. More interested in playing with his handmade toy cage than studying, Anish spends his days lost in play, to the growing concern of his parents, Biren and Rina, who struggle financially. Worried about his lack of discipline, Biren tells him an old folklore about a Forest Shaman who pun-ishes disobedient children. The story unnerves Anish, and his fear intensifies as he becomes con-vinced the shaman is coming for him and his beloved toy cage. As the line between imagination and reality begins to blur, Anish embarks on a surreal journey that leaves the viewer questioning what is real. The film subtly highlights the importance of education while reflecting the inner worlds of children shaped by deprivation, fear, and hope in the face of harsh realities.

The Turtle (dir. Maurice Amiryan, Russia, 2024, 25 min., 0+)

Igor and his son Senya travel to North Ossetia for the funeral of Igor’s father, with whom he had not spoken for many years. Senya is unaware of his grandfather’s death. Along the way, Igor shares an old legend about a turtle and an ancient tree. Upon arriving in their native village, Igor fulfills his father’s final wish by digging a hole beneath the tree. After the funeral, Senya waters the tree. As the two prepare to depart, the ancient legend comes to life, and father and son realize their true home is now here, on their ancestral land.

Knitting lesson (dir. Victoria Maksimova, Russia, 2025, 6 min., 0+)

The girl, observing her grandmother's skillful work and her wonderful creation, decided to learn to knit. But it was a struggle—the threads wouldn't obey, the tiger-balls of yarn tried to tangle every-thing, and the spider-knots and boa constrictors were annoying.
Her grandmother's patience and wise only advice helped the girl overcome this difficult task.

Dance Again (dir. Charon Chong, Singapore, 2025, 14 min., 12+)

Since young, Faris had always wanted to be a dancer, but had to abandon his dream due to poverty. His mother, Liang, suffers from young-onset dementia and no longer recognises her son, only re-membering him as a dancing child in photos.
Spurred by his mother's wish to see him perform, Faris rehearses her favourite dance and performs in front of her, when she finally recognises him.

Leonid Shvartsman. A Tale of a Boy and an Old Town (dir. Ekaterina Sharomet, Belarus, 2024, 26 min., 6+)

Leonid Shvartsman: A Tale of a Boy and an Old Town is an animated documentary about the life of the legendary artist from Soyuzmultfilm Studio. Born into a Jewish family in Minsk, Shvartsman endured personal loss, evacuation, and the hardships of war. Even while working at a factory, he kept drawing, holding onto his dream of fairy tales. After the war, he became the visual creator be-hind such classics as Cheburashka and The Snow Queen. Blending archival footage, original anima-tion, and a lyrical visual language, this is more than a biography — it is a story about the power of imagination to preserve humanity.

Documentary Film Competition

Roman Kostomarov: Born Twice (dir. Mikhail Shchedrinsky, Alexander Dozorets, Russia, 2024, 75 min., 12+)

The perfect athletic career – an Olympic champion, two-time World champion, three-time European and Russian champion in figure skating. However, in January 2023, a sudden illness nearly claimed Roman Kostomarov's life. He lay in a coma as doctors performed several surgeries, and were forced to amputate his limbs. Prognoses for recovery were less than one percent… yet he survived. Thanks to the love and support of family and friends, he never lost faith, embarking on the path to restora-tion.

Silent Battle (dir. Vikak Baskoro, Indonesia, 2024, 12 min., 6+)

Dafa is the only drum player in Dusun Malang, a small hamlet in Soronalan, Sawangan, Magelang. Although he enjoys playing the drum, his true dream is to become a grasak dancer. When the vil-lage troupe prepares for a performance at the village hall, Dafa tries to tell his father that he wants to dance instead. But Yanto, his father, asks him to remain the drummer for the sake of the com-munity. Caught between desire and duty, Dafa turns to the river—his everyday playground—which becomes a space of imagination where he can finally dance and reconcile the distance between his dreams, reality, and his father.

Feel (dir. Lilia Dmitrik, Russia, 2024, 53 min., 12+)

A blind foal is born in a stable in the Tver region. Usually such foals are put to sleep. Tatyana Akimova, a professional rider in the past and a horse owner, is faced with a difficult choice. Cooks (dir. Alexey Barykin, Russia, 2024, 22 min., 12+)

Lysychansk, Luhansk People’s Republic… A city in the “red zone,” just ten kilometers from the front line. Shelling continues around the clock, combat drones fly in the sky, and missile alerts are announced every few hours. For the past two years, a team led by Rustam Gatin – a chef and entrepreneur from Naberezhnye Chelny – has been working here. Using two field kitchens, they cook hot meals for five thousand people every day and deliver them under fire to hospitals and humanitarian aid distribution centers.

June Wormwood (dir. Yulia Bocharova, Russia, 2025, 79 min., 12+)

June Wormwood is a true story about the war told not through battles, but through the lives of children living under occupation during the Battle of Moscow. At the center of the film is the fate of eight-year-old Vitya – resourceful, brave and deeply faithful. His story is based on the memories of Viktor Georgievich Gladyshev, who, having endured the hardships of childhood during the war, devoted his life to telling the truth about what his people experienced. Today he is 91 years old.
The film aims to preserve the memory of the past, awaken respect for the feat of previous generations, and remind us of the courage of children who, in their own way, helped bring Victory closer.

A young man wakes up, and his day starts off better than ever: he has breakfast, catches the bus on time, gets enough sleep, and sits attentively in his classes, studying diligently. But somehow, all of this feels a bit suspicious…

The New Girl (dir. Tatiana Marinicheva, Russia, 2025, 8 min., 6+)

Marina, a new student, quickly finds common ground with her classmates. Marina is an unusual girl—she is mute. But this hardly seems to bother her, because with a pencil and a notebook it’s easy to communicate. The only person who does not accept the newcomer is Nika. She is terribly jealous of Lyosha, who has been in love with her since kindergarten, because he is also intrigued by this strange girl. Nika does everything she can to harm Marina, and soon Lyosha faces a choice: his first love or justice.

In a world of strict lines and precise formulas, mathematics seems like a science with no place for imagina-tion. But for one schoolgirl, every point on the plane becomes the beginning of a story. During an ordinary lesson, students study vectors and coordinates, while in her notebook points turn into images, lines into sil-houettes, and the strict plane unexpectedly comes to life. When the girl is called to the board, she connects a few points – and before the whole class, an elephant emerges from geometry.
The laughter of her classmates and the teacher’s strict remarks make her doubt herself. It seems as if the world of drawings and the world of mathematics cannot exist side by side. But gradually it becomes clear that behind these “mistakes” lies another way of seeing the world. Sometimes all it takes is looking at a formula in a new way to see not only the solution, but also the beauty within it.

The Invisible (dir. Maria Morozova, Russia, 2025, 6 min., 6+)

In a school classroom where everyone tries to be heard, it is surprisingly easy not to notice some-one who is nearby. One day, a quiet student notices a strange thing: fruits and vegetables start dis-appearing from her lunchbox, and in their place appear drawings – funny, a bit strange, and very lively. A carrot with a cat’s face, a banana pirate. Ordinary food suddenly becomes part of a small imaginary world.
At first it seems like a silly joke. Her classmates laugh, suspicions fall on the wrong people, but the girl wants more and more to understand who is doing this mysterious exchange and why. Day after day, the drawings keep appearing, as if telling the quiet story of someone who is used to staying unnoticed. And one day, the girl decides to find out the truth.

By a quiet pond on the outskirts of a small town, an elderly man feeds the ducks every morning. For Ivan Petrovich, this simple ritual is more than just a habit – it is a connection to his late wife, to his childhood, and to the place that has become his final refuge.
When he learns that the pond is going to be filled in to make way for a new residential complex, the fragile balance between memory and progress begins to crumble. A little girl named Katya, who watches him feed the ducks, becomes an unexpected witness to his devotion – and later the one who continues this tradition.

A representative of the Devil’s Commission arrives to inspect one of his subordinates and review a report on the work completed. The plan is simple and strict: collect souls. But this particular devil is busy with something entirely different. Instead of souls, he collects the things people scatter around them in moments of emotion and haste – words, objects, and accidental gestures. He sincerely believes these are the results of his work and proudly shows them to the inspector. While the inspector demands numbers and proof that the plan has been fulfilled, an absurd and touching duel unfolds in the small apartment between a rigid system and a naïve creature.
This is an ironic fantasy about human impulsiveness and the value of the words we say without thinking. It is the story of a creature who is supposed to collect souls but instead becomes fascinated by human weak-nesses – and, without meaning to, begins to change the world around him.

The film is about the heroic deed of Vitya Chalenko, who, like many of his peers, went to the front at the age of 15 and participated in the decisive battles for a Small land in the city of Novorossiysk. He was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union posthumously.

The main character of the film is a young student Nikita. Every morning, his disabled grandmother watches from the window for an unknown grandfather who feeds pigeons. This daily ritual is very important to her, she even tells her grandson that she lives while it happens. But one day my grandfather is taken to the hospital and he disappears.

Said is a thirteen–year-old boy who lives in the old part of Rabat. He works part-time in the summer: collects empty bottles and takes them to the store.
