"Hero" accepts applications for participation

Applications for participation in the II International Film Festival for Children and Youth "Hero", continue to be accepted. "Hero" will be held in the Krasnoyarsk Territory from May 19 to 23, 2022. Participating cities: Krasnoyarsk, Divnogorsk, Norilsk, Aban and Uzhur. The festival is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, organized by the "Yenisei kino". 

Russian and foreign cinematographers (individuals and legal entities) whose field of activity is feature, documentary and animated films for children and youth are invited to participate in the festival.

Films are accepted for participation in the competition program:

• full-length feature films: year of production 2020-2022, duration from 50 to 240 minutes;
• feature short films: year of production 2021-2022, duration from 3 to 49 minutes;
• feature animated films: year of production no earlier than 2020, duration from 60 to 180 minutes;
• short animated films: year of production 2021-2022, duration from 1 to 49 minutes; 
• documentary films, production years: 2021-2022, running time from 3 to 100 minutes;
• special children's nomination "Who is your hero?": year of production 2021-2022, duration from 1 to 49 minutes.

A special nomination for children and teenagers "Who is your hero?" is a prize, which is given for an original short animated, feature or documentary film made by participants from 8 to 17 years old (both individual authors and children's and youth media associations are invited). It is important that this work has not previously participated in the International Film Festival for Children and Youth "Hero".

In 2022, the jury of "Hero" will include foreign experts, both domestic and foreign films will be included in the program. Creative meetings, lectures, educational laboratories, round tables/discussion platforms and thematic workshops will be held during the festival.

After the completion of the main program, the "Echo of the Festival" - screenings of the participating films "Hero"-2022, will be held on the Krasnoyarsk Territory from May 24 to June 30, 2022.
