The training at the Krasnoyarsk Film School for children and teenagers is coming to an end.

The Krasnoyarsk Film School is included in the program of the Hero Festival and is a new educational space for children and teenagers who dream of working in the field of cinematography.

The main goal is to form professional personnel to work on future film projects in the Krasnoyarsk region. The film school is designed to give children from Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk region a complete understanding of the film production process – from the idea to the release on screens.

For six months – from October 2022 to January 2023 – the students who dream of a big movie, plunged headlong into the process of filmmaking and studied all its stages in practice. Students aged 12 to 18 years learned about the basics of screenwriting, acting and directing, working on the set. And one of the most important elements of training was working on their own projects. In January 2023, a five-day film intensive was held dedicated to the search for his author's style and film language from director Maria Krasnoperova.

The course will end with another intensive, where children will be able to get acquainted with the professions of a second director and a film critic, and after that they will present their projects to experts at a pitching. The groups that have created the most elaborate scenarios will receive valuable prizes from the organizers. Intensive is included in the program of the «International Film Festival for Children and Youth "Hero": Film School» from February 27 to March 3. Intensive will be visited not only by students of the Krasnoyarsk Film School, but also by active schoolchildren of the Krasnoyarsk region. The founder of the festival is the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk region, the organizer is the «Yenisei kino». Partners of the Krasnoyarsk Film School are a specialized photo and video equipment store «Binar», a school «Life in the style of media» of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Palace of Pioneers, a video production «Shishka.Media», the film company «Sayanfilm», the Youth Center «Zerkalo».
