The II International Film Festival for Children and Youth “Hero”: shortlist of the competitive program has been announced

Today is exactly one month before the opening of the II International Film Festival for Children and Youth “Hero”. 116 films from 36 countries of the world world have passed the expert selection and have become participants of the competitive and non-competitive programs of the Festival, which will be taken place in the Krasnoyarsk region from May 19 to 23, 2022. The official competitive shortlist includes 63 best films (feature, animation and documentary films), 27 of which are exclusive premieres. The main program of the Festival will be presented by 25 countries of the worldsuch as Australia, Belarus, Germany, Egypt, India, Iran, Spain, Italy, China, Mexico, Russia, Syria and others. The authors will personally present most of the full-length films. There will be screenings in Krasnoyarsk, Aban, Divnogorsk, Norilsk and Uzhur. The Festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk region. The organizer is the Krai State Independent Organization of Culture “Enisei Kino”.

Nine films of different genres will be presented in the nomination “Full-length feature film”. There are love stories, comedies and profound dramas about cultural customs and traditions.

II International Film Festival for Children and Youth “Hero” is the only one professional international competition for children and youth in Russia from Eastern Siberia to Sakhalin. The founder is the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk region, the organizer is Krasnoyarsk State Autonomous Cultural Organization Enisey Kino. The festival takes place once in two years in the Krasnoyarsk region. The President of the festival is Vladimir Grammatikov, Honored Artist of Russia, film director, screenwriter, Disney Company creative producer.
