"Hero" Returns: Special Programs of the Film Festival Will Be Held In November

Large-scale cinema event “Hero” will be held in the Krasnoyarsk Territory from 25 to 27 November. It will echo the 2020 festival and announce "Hero" - 2022, which is scheduled to take place in May.

"Hero. Special Programs” are screenings of films-winners of the last year's festival; creative meetings and master classes. The undisputed leader of the event will be the specially developed workshop by the director, founder of the “Tsekh” film school Nina Vedmitskaya (Moscow) for Krasnoyarsk children. Nina Vedmitskaya will personally fly to our city to work with young filmmakers and help them master the skills of script writing, filming and editing. The Krasnoyarsk film director, head of the Sayanfilm film company Vasily Builov will join the intensive course. He will play the role of the project curator at further stages - the result of this training should be full-fledged films created by the children. The best works, which will appear within the framework of the project, can be included in the short-list of the special nomination of the festival "Hero" -2022. It is symbolic that the platform for the workshop is provided by the Creative Association "Tvori-Gora" - the winner of the last year in the nomination "Mobile Cinema".

November 25 "Cinema Park. Gallery Yenisei" (st. Dubrovinsky, 1i):

• 18:00 — press conference, announcement of acceptance of applications for participation in the III International Festival of Films for Children and Youth "Hero", which will be held in May 2022;
• 19:00 — special screening of the film Red Bracelets – The Beginning (dir. Binder F., Germany, 2019, 115 min., 12+) – Grand Prix winner of the Festival "Hero"-2020.

November 25-27:

• screenings of films - winners of the 2020 Hero of the Year Film Festival at the venues of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (the list of venues and the schedule of screenings are under development, follow the news on the website and in social networks “Enisey Kino” );
• three-day film making workshop for children from 12 to 18 years "Shoot Your Movie". Venue: Krasnoyarsk, st. Karl Marx, 37, Media Workshop (Tvori-Gora) 15:00-19:00
