International Film Festival for Children and Youth "Hero": FILM SCHOOL

From March, 26th till March, 30th, 2025, Krasnoyarsk will host the International Film Festival for Children and Youth "Hero: Film School". These days, screenings of the best films of the III International Film Festival for Children and Youth "Hero" – 2024 in the Krasnoyarsk Krai will take place. There will also be a free intensive training for children and teenagers.
The founder of the event is the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Krai, the organizer is the KGAUK "Yenisei Cinema".
The audience will see screenings of the best films of the III International Film Festival for Children and Youth "Hero" – 2024, which will be shown at film installations and cultural institutions throughout the Krasnoyarsk Krai. Admission to all film screenings is free.
Within the festival "Hero: Film School" the intensive training for children and teenagers will be conducted.
For five days, teenagers will immerse themselves in the world of cinema, will study the subtleties of cinematography. The course focuses on producing, acting, cinematography, and preparation for admission to specialized educational institutions.
Leading figures of cinematography will work with the audience.
Katarina Ivanovich is a lecturer at the Department of Feature Film Directing at SpbGIKiT. Katarina Romualdovna will tell you how to create a creative folder and prepare for university admission.
Alexander Knyaz is an actor of the Krasnoyarsk Youth Theater, a leading master of the stage, a professional actor, winner of the mayor's award "Young Talents", winner of the award "Best Artist of the season in the year of the theater", winner of the festival "Theatrical Spring-2019" in the nomination "Best Supporting Actor".
Alexander will talk about the subtleties of acting, share exercises on speech technique and body plasticity, as well as answer all students' questions and share his experience as an actor.
Vladimir Tarasov is a producer and film director (films: "The Yenisei Marathon", "Where our Home is", "Where our Home is: Khakassia", etc.).
Vladimir will talk about how to make a commercially successful project, where to get financial resources, and how to properly organize the process of creating and promoting a film.
There will also be practical shooting exercises where the students will learn how to create cinematic shots in any conditions.

Anyone from 12 to 18 years old inclusive can register. We recommend filling out the questionnaire in as much detail as possible, so there will be more chances to get on the project. The top 100 students will be admitted to the classes.
