Festival "HERO"

The II International Film Festival for Children and Youth “Hero”: shortlist of the non-competitive program has been announced

116 films from 36 countries of the world will take part in the II International Film Festival for Children and Youth “Hero”, which will be taken place in the Krasnoyarsk region from May 19 to 23. 64 films from 25 countries will compete for prizes in the competitive program. The non-competitive program is going to be also impressive. This extensive program includes 52 films from 19 countries. There will be screenings in Krasnoyarsk, Aban, Divnogorsk, Norilsk and Uzhur. The Festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk region. The organizer is the Krai State Independent Organization of Culture “Enisei Kino”.

Non-competitive program:

The category “Full-length feature film” includes five Russians films. There are family comedies, dramas, adventure fantasy and even a film, which was shot in the Krasnoyarsk region.

II International Film Festival for Children and Youth “Hero” is the only one professional international competition for children and youth in Russia from Eastern Siberia to Sakhalin. The founder is the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk region, the organizer is Krasnoyarsk State Autonomous Cultural Organization Enisey Kino. The festival takes place once in two years in the Krasnoyarsk region. The President of the festival is Vladimir Grammatikov, Honored Artist of Russia, film director, screenwriter, Disney Company creative producer. The Chairman of the Jury is Vladimir Alennikov, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, film director, screenwriter, writer, and producer.

In 2022, the jury will also include international experts. The festival program includes both Russian and world films. Creative meetings, master classes, lectures, educational laboratories, round tables/discussion platforms and thematic workshops will be held during the film festival.
